These are the steps to take to add shaders

Optifine Shaders

Most Optifine Shaders compatible with the Iris mod iris doesn't run every Optifine Shader, while you could try the shaders you want Iris suggests these because they are tested.

Installation

1. Start the Faster Than Light instance

2. Navigate to Options... --> Video Settings... --> Shader Packs...

3. Download the shaders you want (Recommended ones)

4. Drag the .zip to your minecraft shader pack screen

5. Set Shaders to Enabled in the top

6. Select the shader, click Apply

Configuration (optional)

1. Click on the shader

2. Click on Shader Pack Settings on the bottom

3. Make your wanted changes

4. Click on Apply

5. Click on Done

Canvas Shaders

Canvas Renderer is a shader mod optimized for powerful computers, these shaders are not supported but if you wish to have them make sure to remove Iris and sodium and replace it with Canvas renderer.
